Ability to hide the items or labour on a work order from the customer in final invoice

We would like the ability to be able to hide items and labour but still count them in the work sales order/ invoice but still be counting what is used. as we have quite a few jobs that get quoted without the long each list of what we use. customers don't need to know our measurements etc on a fabricated item.

The work around we currently use is to kit all the items, so the customer only sees the kit and not the contents. However when we do sell individual items such as laser cut parts the customer needs to see the price per part so kitting is a bit impractical in this scenario. So keen to see if there are better options that could be explored.

This is especially true when using the square or lineal meter calculators. It makes for a messy invoice / work order to have 20 of the same measurements listed for example, than 20 @ 1000 x 800.
