Can we please have the option to enter the 'Mark Up' and the 'Discount' on a Sales Order as a dollar value rather than a percentage?

Along with the ability to cash amount discount rather than %. Could we also have the original total shown on the invoice before the discount is applied, to gain a better perspective of the discount? something like the attached?
