We would like to request an enhancement to the current supplier search functionality when changing suppliers on a PO to allow multi-character input when filtering results.

At present, the search only accepts a single letter and returns all suppliers containing that letter anywhere in their name. While this helps reduce the list, it still requires significant scrolling when working with a large number of suppliers.

We propose enabling users to type multiple letters (e.g., “mor”) to further refine the search results and quickly locate specific suppliers (such as “Morgan Metal Corp”). This would greatly improve efficiency, reduce manual scrolling, and enhance overall user experience.

Adding this capability would align the search function with standard user expectations and make supplier selection faster and more intuitive.
