Pipeline
planned
Paul Lutkajtis
The ability to manage your quote pipeline more effectively:
- A 'Workflow' equivalent page, specific for quotes, with the ability to define custom quote statuses
- Ability to mark quotes as 'Closed Lost' to improve quote win rate reporting
- Customer-facing SMS/Email quote reminders
- Ability for customer to accept and sign for quote online

Change quote status to Quote Lost

Sweet Rooster
Have the ability to change the status of a quote to "Quote Lost" for quotes we know we have not won the order.

It would be great to have is a 'quote not accepted'. this means the quote would be easier to find, than an archived one. and perhaps the order could be re-opened if the customer found the money a few months later.

As A Factory user whoe sends a lot of quotes/invoices
I Want to be able to see if my Customer has opened/viewed my email
So That I know it has arrived and is not in spam or lost to the internet

Just adding to this, team. Huge piece of work we're going to be doing in this space (If you look up the item called 'Pipeline'). This is flagged as a natural extension of that work.

Electronic Signing/Acceptance of quotes and visbility on quote viewing/acceptance would be great...!!

This is inline with our previous comment about matching the functionality of Quotient.app which allows customers to accept online and records their IP in case of later disputes.

Thanks for posting this, Orchid Gayal. I hear you on wanting to know whether quote and invoice emails are actually being opened, so you can tell if they landed or got lost in spam. We review and score every post against our backlog, and I’ll reach out if we need more context or want to collaborate on what “viewed” should look like in your workflow.

Quote Expiry Date

Stuart Wheatley
Similar to the Invoice Due date that can be configured for each customer as so many days after the Invoice Date, would like to add a Quote Expiry Date which is a dynamic field from the Quote Date.

Have an option for number of days the quote is valid for.

Quote Expiry Date Automatically Populate

I would have thought that an automatic quote-expiry function would be standard — where the expiry date is populated based on a preset range (e.g., 7 days, 30 days, etc.).
