There is a lot of spare screen space on the main screen of the products catalogue. It would be handy to have columns of extra information here next to each item, so that you don't have to click into each one when searching for information on a few different products i.e. | item number| Description| on hand qty| Retail price| etc.

These could all be customisable columns so you could set your own preferred view, much like the sales order page.

Not having to click into the item will also help not loosing your screen location, as happens when you go into a product, then either save or cancel to go back, brings you right back to the top of the product catalogue again.
