Saving changes to kits via a Sales Order

When using the standard kit and importing it into a sales order. You can make amendments in the sales order but you can NOT save back to the library. Can this become a feature?

As we are using template kits for quoting would also be necessary to not only save product kits but also "Save As" new kits for the product catalogue

need to be a setting if this goes ahead... think of a company where several newbies might be entering orders and they keep saving changes thinking they are saving the order... this should be a change that requires approval.

Hi Zinc white Penguin - to confirm, is the scenario that you're adding a kit to a Sales Order from your catalogue, changing something on that kit, then wanting to permanently save that change back to the kit in the catalogue?
